Description Position Title: Manager, Supply Chain Replenishment and MDM

Position Summary:
The Manager Supply Chain Replenishment and MDM will be responsible for the execution of projects for the supply chain in support of DC and Store Replenishment and the Master Data Management system in Sega. This role is responsible for the continued operational support and improvement of the systems associated with these business areas. This manager leads a team to ensure proper planning, estimating, and managing of business requirements, design, development, integration, and rollout of the solutions in support of business needs. The incumbent will work closely with the Business Analyst(s) reporting to the Director – BRM Supply Chain. This role requires someone with strong execution abilities, a desire to partner and collaborate with the various functions within the business as well as IT, and a desire to grow and coach a team. This position is responsible for adhering to industry best practices, for ensuring adherence to compliance, IT controls, and quality procedures. Collaborates with the BRM Supply Chain team for creating the strategic roadmap for these areas.

Responsibilities:
•Leads and manages the IT team responsible for the work activities of projects, maintenance, support and improvement of business systems applications within the scope of supply chain replenishment and MDM business processes.
•Partners with the BRM Supply Chain team to develop and manage the strategic long-term technology plans and roadmap, in support of the business strategy.
•Leads the formulation, scoping, development and delivery of application projects showing objectives, capital investment needed and resources required of proposed systems. Manages the quality of technology solutions and processes.
•Supports the development of the business case with clear cost/benefit justifications that are in agreement with business short and long-term objectives. Quantifies overall solutions costs.
•Ensures proactive management, review, analysis and reporting of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Champions improvements continually to increase quality and customer satisfaction with IT services.
•Reports customer satisfaction feedback from internal business partners regarding business systems and solutions.
•Manages the continuous improvement of assigned staff, development tools, procedures, SLAs, KPIs, and business systems applications to maintain pace with technological progress, economic change, and business needs.
•Possesses in-depth knowledge of replenishment and MDM business processes, broad knowledge of system and technology alternatives, and strong knowledge of products and services. Acts as an expert resource to IT management and staff.
•Coordinates with the supported business teams, the BRM Supply Chain team, and the appropriate infrastructure team counterparts on all project and support activities to ensure effective and consistent communication. Proactively raises issues to IT leadership.
•Conducts performance monitoring and improvement, capacity planning, system tuning, and resource availability planning.
•Responsible for resolution of systems performance and production incidents, which may require 24 hrs/day and/or 7 days/week coverage.
•Analyzes and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of current processes, data and systems. Benchmarks best practices and recommends improvement solutions.
•Follows the established department systems/software development lifecycle and ensures completion of all required artifacts.
•Maintains documentation of current processes, data and physical environment; updates knowledge management database.
•Ensures team’s adherence to all established IT departmental procedures for security, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), compliance, audit, PCI, software quality assurance, source code management, release management and adopted ITIL practices.
•Plans and participates in management education within the company where systems or technology concepts can be applied. Stays current with technology and supports the evolution of the roadmap.
•Demonstrates a solid understanding of the business functions and how the technology solutions support the business operations, and how the solutions need to be deployed and supported. Develops and evaluates functional specifications.
•Prepares and maintains employee performance reviews and development plans. Provides employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback. Participates in Supply Chain Applications team’s talent management and succession planning.
•Develops employees to their fullest potential, providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth. Recognizes and rewards employees for their accomplishments.
Requirements Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline is required
•5 to 8 years of experience in full cycle system implementations to build, integrate and deliver enterprise-wide supply chain systems in the Retail industry (Retail Industry experience is applicable to all the basic qualifications listed herein)
•5 to 8 years of experience with DC and store replenishment and master data management - experience with mainframe systems is required
•Demonstrated experience in utilizing flexible sourcing options to deliver application engineering services
•Demonstrated experience in working with application vendors / external resource providers and managing key vendor contacts to deliver value for the money
•5+ years of experience in systems/software development lifecycle, business processes, requirements gathering, design, configuration & change management, source code management, testing, implementation, documentation and support
•3 to 5 years of manager or technical lead experience of a team in supply chain systems
•Solid knowledge of IT compliance guidelines (SOX, audit, controls, etc.) as part of development and implementation practices
•Experience with mainframe and Wintel environments

Preferred Qualifications:
•Strong working knowledge of, or certification in PMP, software quality assurance and/or ITIL v3 disciplines is a plus
•Advanced degree is a plus
•Influence and drive alignment across IT application peers, production support, and business process teams to ensure effective root cause analysis and resolution
•Proven capabilities in developing teams, coaching, and skill mentoring
•Analytical and persuasive skills - excellent communication (oral and written)
•Works well with business teams and IT leadership to gain their confidence and support
•Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills to lead and motivate a solution team to deliver quality services
•Thorough understanding of resource management, communication management, cost management, risk management, quality management, and release management
•Facilitation skills to lead teams and successful meetings
