||Transportation Maintenance Supervisor - Sweetbay
||Position Title: Transportation Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Plant City, FL
Manage the maintenance facility and run the daily shop operation to keep a steady flow of work through the shop. Maintain equipment for transportation.
Promote good morale and teamwork within the shop.
Monitor 10% of all preventive maintenance to ensure mechanic accuracy.
Ensure all shop tools are in safe working order.
Monitor parts purchases to ensure receiving vendor’s best price.
Have parts inventoried quarterly to maintain proper parts level.
Review repair orders to maintain mechanic productivity.
Attend all drivers meetings to receive feedback on the shop operation and communicate important information.
Respond timely to all safety audits.
Conduct monthly shop/safety meetings.
Ensure cleanliness inside and outside the maintenance facility.
Assist, when requested, with company car responsibilities.
Strive to find more efficient ways to do the job and seek to reduce costs and improve labor productivity.
Utilization of the following systems is required, but not limited to: AWMS, Voice, RF, Out Look, EAM, WMY, and Zata.
•Ability to reach, stoop, bend and lift up to including 70lbs.
•Ability to analyze situations, identify problems and implement solutions.
•Ability to read and understand all shop materials in the form of written manuals, computer diagnostic tools and possess basic computer skills.
•Must possess basic hand tools and have the ability to use all tools required in completing tasks in the truck shop.
•Proficient in aluminum and steel welding processes.
•Competent in the operation of all Transportation fleet equipment.
•Ability to work in extreme temperatures and adverse weather conditions
•Able to meet productivity standards set by Sweetbay.
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the maintenance field is required.
•High School diploma.
•Efficient in the areas of: Organizational Skills, and have PC knowledge including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
•Excellent written and verbal communication is required with associates, peers, other members of management and vendors.
