||Job Title: Assistant Produce Manager - Harveys
Responsible for managing and running the produce department in the absence of the produce manager, and efficient ordering and inventory control. Receive and store perishable product. Follow quality control practices and maintain standards for variety, quality, and condition of product. Ensure production of merchandise and maintenance of product levels. Ensure housekeeping and sanitation within the produce department. Maintain posting prices and price changes. Train and supervise produce department team members. Maintain department records and figures including gross profit, wage percent and supply cost to Harveys standards. Ensure proper unloading of trucks for the produce department. Responsible for using the in-store computer and scan system. Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and standard practices.
