||Position Title: Database Administrator IV
Location: Salisbury, NC or Scarborough, Maine
Basic Function / General Summary
Manages and maintains all production and non-production databases (primarily SQL Server). Responsible for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration. Performs backup and recovery on Database Management Systems, configures database parameters, and prototype designs against logical data models, defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements. This position optimizes database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost.

General Profile – BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required. Proven track record of good work ethic and determination. Willingness to lead a group of talented database administrators. 6+ years of experience with large scale enterprise SQL Server database adminstration and a very good understanding of retail business processes and how to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
Technical Expertise – Deep experience in SQL Server database administration (DBA) with large scale databases and data warehouse practices. Proficient in SQL and Windows platform. Experience with SQL Server clustering, high availability, backup and recovery. SQL Server 2008R2 at a minimum. SQL Server 2012 experience is a plus. T-SQL experience.
